Volunteer for Joan Burton's Team

Joan Burton's election success depends on the work of a large and committed group of local volunteers. Any help will be appreciated. We need volunteers to do canvassing, leaflet delivery, postering, and office work.

Modest financial donations are also very welcome. See below.

If you can help please call us on 6184006 or email joan@joanburton.ie.

Donations

It is only with your help that the fight for reform in Irish politics will be won. As you know Labour has been to the fore in demanding fundamental reforms to political finance. We pioneered the demand that corporate donations be outlawed. Alone among the parties Labour sent back a €50,000 cheque from a prominent businessman. FG has come belatedly on board to support this demand.Only the Government parties are dragging their heels in supporting this democratic reform.

Our campaigns tend to be run in a more economical way than those of other parties. In addition, the laws we introduced in Government have established for the first time strict spending limits on candidates in every General Election.

If you feel you can make such a contribution please send a cheque to Labour Dublin West
