CASTLEKNOCK COMMUNITY COLLEGE EXTENSION SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED

Joan with John Cronin (CCC Principal)

Tánaiste Joan Burton visited the school yesterday (Tuesday 2nd June) to view the completed works.

The CCC extension is a key part of a greatly expanded programme of capital funding for schools in Dublin 15.

The Tánaiste commented: “The completion of this project is a major boost for the school and the local community. It owes a great deal to parents, teachers and community representatives who campaigned for the new building.

“I have been working with the local community for a long time to bring this project to fruition, and I’m delighted that students will now enjoy the new facilities.

“Working with with my colleagues in Government, Education Minister Jan O’Sullivan and previously Ruairi Quinn, we have successfully ensured there is continued capital investment into schools in Dublin 15.”
