Culture Night is an annual all-island public event that celebrates culture, creativity and the arts and this year it will take place on Friday 20th September 2019. For one night only arts and cultural organisations, churches, castles and historic houses in Fingal will extend their opening hours to the public, highlighting all the fantastic cultural facilities and talented people in the locality. This year marks the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of Fingal County Council, and this will be celebrated on Culture Night.
Events will take place across the County in a range of venues including free film screenings, youth theatre and art and stories in Draíocht and the Art of Willow in the Seamus Ennis Arts Centre. Our Heritage Properties of Swords Castle, Ardgillan Castle & Demesne, Malahide Castle, Skerries Mills and Newbridge House will open their doors as well as Blanchardstown Library, Dublin Airport and DIAS Dunsink Observatory.
