Dublin West TD and Minister for Social Protection Joan Burton has welcomed the announcement by the Department of Education for the construction of 3 new Classrooms and 1 new Learning / Resource Rooms at St Philip the Apostle Junior National School, Clonsilla, Dublin 15.
The new Classrooms along with the Learning and Resource Room come in addition to the recent announcement by the Department of Education of a major 5 year national schools building programme. Which saw a number of Dublin 15 Schools benefit from what will be largest planned construction program undertaken by the Department of Education.
The new school facilities at St Philip the Apostle Junior National School, Clonsilla, form part of the commitment within the Programme for Government to reduce the reliance on rented prefabs in schools. The state of the art facilities also provide a boost too much needed local jobs in the construction industry.
