In my role as public representative for Dublin 15, I have taken the opportunity to meet with several staff representatives and groups from QIL Blanchardstown in recent weeks.
I have also spoken directly with the Financial Regulator on two occasions and with the Minister for Finance on this matter.

I recognise the important contribution that QIL makes to Blanchardstown and surrounding areas in terms of employment, and I have stressed at every opportunity the need to put in place without undue delay measures to protect the maximum number of local jobs possible.
