Tánaiste Joan Burton has said her thoughts are with the people of Paris tonight, following multiple terror attacks across the city.

“I am deeply appalled at the unfolding events in Paris and the cold blooded murder of innocent people. I fervently hope further loss of life can be prevented by the French authorities who are responding tonight to a nightmarish situation. Our thoughts are with the people of France.”
