TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT FOR PHOENIX PARK GIGS

The traffic chaos due to the Ed Sheerin gig last night was shocking. I am aware of a number of people who took nearly three hours to travel on the 39/a to Blanchardstown from the City Centre

I had raised with the Taoiseach before the problems residents have experienced and I am concerned about whether the Park has the capacity to cater for some of the larger events it hosts.

Today I wrote to Minister Boxer Moran in the Office of Public Works seeking the OPW learn lessons from the traffic chaos and ensure better public transport arrangements and travel facilities are in place to facilitate concert goers and commuters heading home from work.
